I emigrated from Ireland over 20 years ago and built a carpentry and tiling business in Boston. We then moved to the Monadnock region to be near my wife's family and raise our kids in the countryside. I love living in this area! The infant son in this picture is now a teenager who is learning the trade by my side, when schoolwork allows.

I can do all phases of building from frame to finish, but as I work alone and without a crew, I don't do framing for large jobs, foundation work, or roofing - all tasks that need a dedicated crew. My expertise is in fine finish work and custom builds. I can build quick, rough chicken coops or tile a palatial indoor pool deck, and retain the same quality of work and consistency throughout. My many repeat customers know that I stand by my work.

As of the writing of this, I recently renovated a cash-strapped customer's bathroom for one third of the price she'd received from bigger outfits because she wasn't going for showcase, but for attractive, solid, and functional. I was able to provide a kitchen renovation for another client for $30,000 less than the quote they'd received from a large kitchen fitter by refacing the cabinets and building a custom wine rack instead of replacing perfectly solid cabinet boxes.

I work hard to do right by my customers. I return calls and provide estimates in a timely fashion. I respect your time and communicate clearly about scope and schedule. Things naturally develop as work unfolds, and changes are often necessary or desired. I make sure we're on the same page before moving forward. I make sure we work as partners, and that you're happy with the final product.
